Snowy owls are one of my favourite species of birds. Besides their looks they can fly in complete stealth mode and locate prey under a layer of snow with pin point precision. The harsh winter conditions made it sometimes challenging to be outdoors for many hours. However, great-full I am with the encounters that we had. All images are taken in the Ontario area, Canada.
