Snowy owls are one of my favorite bird species. Beyond their striking appearance, they possess the remarkable ability to fly in complete silence and locate prey with pinpoint accuracy, even beneath a blanket of snow. Capturing these magnificent creatures often meant braving harsh winter conditions and spending countless hours outdoors. Yet, I am profoundly grateful for each encounter we had. All the images in this collection were taken in the Ontario region of Canada. I invite you to enjoy these photographs of the ghost of the north.
