Caiman in sinkhole

Caiman trapped in a 500 meters wide and 100 meter deep sinkhole located in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
The Buraco das Araras sinkhole is known for the many pairs of Red-and-green macaws that are living there.
On this particular visit I spotted a caiman down in the sinkhole, providing me with the opportunity to photograph this serene setting.
